The Office of Extended Learning Programs strives to provide high quality customer service and greater access to quality school options for all SCS parents. This means offering more comprehensive options with regard to before and afterschool registration and payment.
Additionally, in an effort to ensure equity for the students and families who will be new to the district for the 2019-2020 school year, ELP online registration/payment will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 30, 2019.
As ELP Registration Day approaches, we’ll utilize the ELP email database to communicate directly with before and afterschool participant families.
To avoid mistakes, please review the following information when registering and making payments online:
Current/Existing parents will NOT need to recreate an ELP account, however a new student application will need to completed for the 19-20 SY
Student’s State ID number (a 7-digit number beginning with either 3 or 4; if you do not have this information, please contact your child or children’s zoned school or the ELP office)
Student-specific information, such as unique medical information and emergency contacts/persons approved for afterschool pick-up
Login credentials created during registration are case senstive
For new users/families please take the following steps for registration and payment:
Click on the “Registration/Login Tab.” (red tab)
New users/parents create your ELP account by clicking on “Parent Registration.”
After creating your ELP account, login in using your email/password credentials (case sensitive) and click on “Complete Student Application.”
Complete the application for your child or children participating in the ELP program.
Once the application is complete, refer to the enrollment status to determine if your child has been "Admitted" to the program or is on the school's "Waiting List."
If admitted/enrolled, you'll be able to proceed with making a payment by clicking the selection box to the left of your child's name.
Once you've selected your child's name, click "Make Payment" to proceed to the payment screen.
The amount due for the current week will be displayed, however you have the option to pay for up to four weeks at a time by utilizing the "Advanced Weeks Payment" dropbox.
Enter your credit/debit card information and click "Submit" (one time only). If the payment is approved, you'll recieve an electronic receipt via email.
Once a payment is made, the payment selection box will disable until the next Monday morning a tuition payment is due.

ELOP programs are under the purview and regulatory requirements of TDOE CHAPTER 0520-12-01 with regard to adult: child ratios.
With this in mind, each program can only accept a certain number of students for every staff member working in the program, before-school and after-school. The remaining students are put on a waiting list in chronological order until we’re able to serve additional students.
Once your child(ren) are admitted, you’ll receive an email informing you of the status change with instructions to update your child(ren)’s application.
Please know that we’re working hard everyday to serve as many families as possible, however ELOP must always do its due diligence with regard to T.C.A compliance, otherwise the program, School and/or District could be at risk of receiving plans of corrective action (POCAs), civil penalties (fines), and/or be closed down due to noncompliance.
